Yoga and golf is the perfect combination! The physical, mental, and life lessons of yoga are the perfect correlation to the game of golf. In golf, the body and mind are challenged greatly. The golf swing itself requires execution of an explosive motion, involving almost every muscle in the entire body, from a static position. The mind must stay calm and focused and calculate the next shot and club selection with precision. At the same time, the golfer is faced with external influences, such as weather, slow play, and possibly injuries. This workshop will provide tools to enhance your golf performance for both body and mind, including enhanced breathing awareness, increased flexibility and strength, a quieter mind, and an increased sense of balance. The benefits of yoga will transfer to the game of golf, as well as contribute to better overall health and well-being.
