Join Tricia Thomas this Sunday afternoon, October 13th, at 4:30pm for a combined Yin Yoga/Yoga Nidra heavenly experience!
Yin yoga is a series of passive poses that are held a bit longer, utilizing props and breath work, to release the connective tissues in the body. Muscles, joints, and the inter-fascial network all have time to soak into the stretches and deep softening and release begins to occur. Yoga Nidra is roughly translated as yogic sleep. Nidra is a meditation technique where you will be guided into a state of deep relaxation while maintaining awareness. The class is 60 minutes – 40 minutes of yin and 20 minutes of Nidra.
