Yesterday, the governor announced that Tier 1 businesses are slotted to open on June 1, with restrictions and safety accommodations in place. We have been doing a lot of thinking about the reopening of the studio, and how to do so safely. We know that not all people will have the same comfort levels with coming back to classes. We will do all we can to make the studio clean, sanitary, and take any precautions we can. We have already recommended you purchase your own props, so props will not be available for you to use. We will not be doing a paper sign in. We will limit the number of people allowed to come to class, to keep a safe distance mat to mat. We will continue to LiveStream classes so those who do not feel comfortable coming to the studio can continue to participate. We want to be all about accessibility AND safety. More to follow!
Birthday Cake Puppy Chow
How to Make It
Place cereal in a large bowl; set aside.
Place white chocolate chips in a small, microwave-safe glass bowl; microwave for 1 minute or until chocolate begins to melt. Remove from microwave and stir. Microwave an additional 30 seconds and stir until smooth.
Add white chocolate to cereal in bowl; stir gently to evenly coat. Place mixture in a large, zip-top plastic bag. Add sprinkles to bag. Seal bag and shake to combine. Add powdered sugar to bag. Seal bag; shake until cereal mixture is fully coated. Transfer mixture to a rimmed baking sheet lined with wax paper; cool completely. Store in an airtight container up to 1 week.
Today’s practice is a Hatha Flow class with Carole. We apologize that the beginning was not recorded. We opened the class in some kind of supported fish – possibly lying on a foam roller if you have one, or two blocks underneath you – one between your shoulder blades and one for the back of your head. You can modify with pillows, blankets, or towels, or just lie on your back. The quote that was cut off is one of my favorites, “Yesterday is a memory; tomorrow is a dream; today is a GIFT – that’s why it’s called the PRESENT.”
