OH, do we yearn for the days that we can put into practice what we have had time to ponder over these past few months!
This video describes the world as it was, and us in the world, and we as we were. The busyness, the dependency on technology, the wasted hours being tethered to the digital world, spending hours without making contact with other people. Oh, how we crave the ability to be able to LOOK UP, live life, make meaningful contacts…enjoy the moments, notice our beautiful world, and look once again into one another’s eyes without fear. This caused me to contemplate how I want to be different, and how much I want this for the rest of our world. Hopefully you agree as well, and we will all unite in this effort. Spend a few minutes watching, if you have time, and perhaps you can think of ways even today that you can begin to Look Up!
When we look up, we see that our trees are just starting to POP and spring forth new life! Here we are sharing another beautiful watercolor by local artist, Gail Speckman.
“Reaching upward and outward, yet firmly rooted in the ground, trees can speak to us and inspire us with their steady, faithful presence.
As we humans have rushed about in our lives, the trees now call us to find that inward calm of simply being, true to ourselves, true to our own nature, willing to weather all seasons.”
Today’s practice is a Gentle Yoga Practice with Tricia.
We apologize for the recording beginning approximately 15 minutes into the class. Please be sure to do your own gentle warmups before you begin!
